Product Introduction
Phenolic foam is a new-generation thermal insulation, fire-retardant, and soundproofing material. It boasts advantages such as being lightweight, fire-resistant, non-combustible when exposed to open flames, smoke-free, free of dripping substances, and capable of operating over a wide temperature range.
Phenolic foam insulation boards and pipe shells, renowned for their flame-retardant properties, are widely used in thermal insulation projects in tunnels, civil buildings, industrial facilities, petroleum and chemical industries, national defense and military applications, ship hulls, railway carriages, cold storage facilities, and other similar fields.
Phenolic foam boasts excellent thermal stability, allowing it to be used continuously at 200℃ and with short-term heat resistance up to 500℃. To meet the demands of the Korean and Japanese markets, a quasi-noncombustible product has been developed and is now being widely introduced to the market.
Product Features
1. High flame retardancy and low smoke emission. The oxygen index can reach 60%, and the smoke density is less than 5. It does not burn at 1200℃ and, when exposed to fire, only chars without dripping.
2. It has excellent insulation properties and a low thermal conductivity. Phenolic foam material consists of “closed-cell micro-bubbles,” which effectively inhibit heat convection caused by temperature differences. Its thermal conductivity ranges from 0.017 to 0.022 W/(m·K), helping to achieve energy savings.
3. It exhibits stable weather resistance and relatively high heat resistance. The phenolic insulation foam material can be used at temperatures ranging from -60°C to 150°C, maintains dimensional stability, is non-absorbent, resists aging, and boasts a long service life.
4. It’s a green and environmentally friendly building material that features fluorine-free foaming and is odorless. The foaming process does not involve chlorofluorocarbons; the formulation is carefully balanced, ensuring a smooth reaction that produces compounds free of residual toxins and completely odorless. It exhibits excellent resistance to both acids and bases, demonstrating strong tolerance toward acidic and alkaline environments.Product Showcase
